A front zipper with a hook-and-loop security flap, a non-metal triple-lock crotch buckle, and a 51 cm adjustable crotch strap work together to help keep the vest in place while your child kicks and reaches. Sizing is by weight, not age: S fits 20-30 lbs, M fits 30-50 lbs, and L fits 50-80 lbs. The outer shell is 100% polyester over a lightweight closed-cell XPE foam core that keeps the vest light in the water and quick to dry. The fabric is UPF 50+ rated to help reduce sun exposure during supervised pool time. CPC-tested and meets CPSIA requirements for children's products. NOT a USCG-approved life jacket or PFD. Adult supervision always required.
